Tang Marking:
Blue Steel Special Scales: Laminated celluloid Blade: 5/8 square point My 1 to 10 Rating... 9 Comments: Laminated celluloid with a "cracked ice" top coat. These should be considered scarce. It is an excellent shaving razor with great steel. |

Condition of
the Razor My 1 to 10 scale |
| All razors found on these pages are judged by their weakest points |
| 1 ~ 4 | Broken or chipped or shortened blades, missing pieces, very deep pitting, damaged scales, active rust, needs moderate work on blade or scales to be functional. |
| 5 ~ 6 | May have the following: light to moderate evidence of past pitting to at least 30% of the blade, hairline cracks that do not affect function, not necessarily pretty but still functional as a shaving tool, can have shortened blade if scales have also been shortened, no active rust, moderate hone wear allowed. |
| 7 ~ 8 | Less than 30% evidence of past oxidation to blade, no glaring damage to blade or scales, in good condition but with minor flaws, non-custom scales may not be original to blade, light to moderate hone wear possible, most of my razors are in this range. |
| 9 | extremely good condition, no pitting, no cracks anywhere, good fit at the pivot, no damage of any kind, aesthetically pleasing to the eye |
| 10 | flawless |
