There is a strong possibility that the blades I have used on this group of “hybrid” razors are a Polish Wapienica surgical stainless steel. Most of these gems did not even come with scales when I purchased them from a fellow who lives in Europe. Whoever forged these beauties did a fantastic job. I refinished the surfaces to my taste and scratched my name on them as an endorsement of quality. They sharpen up really nice and they provide a dandy shave. The scales have been treated with CA to provide a mirror shine with a lot of depth.  This particular razor has a set of custom  scales utilizing two different woods - ebony and amboyna burl - and black fiber liners.
