A very scarce pattern with hand painted artwork in the showcase area of the celluloid scales. The painted scene includes a sailing ship traveling beneath a bridge with a figure waving a flag atop the passageway. It is a 5/8’s wide smiling blade made in Germany for Wm Elliiot and company. Elliot makes an excellent shaving razor and this pattern, while not rare, is very limited because of the painted scene. Additionally, there is very little wear to the scales and it retains most of the original color.
